Ed and Sharon Werner
Ed and Sharon Werner live in Coos Bay, Oregon where he preaches for the Church of Christ. They have taken the responsibility of being a link between Christians in the United States and several Churches of Christ in Jamaica. Jamaican Evangelism's purpose is to train native men to preach and then help with their support. Ed and Sharon have made a number of working trips to the Island since 1986 and served as forwarding agent for funds designated for these preachers. The principal language is English, so the usual language barrier is not present- perhaps just an accent hurdle to cross with a mix of British English and Patois (African slang.)
