Mervin & Vena Ward have two daughters. Brother Ward ministers at Mocho, the oldest Church of Christ on the island of Jamaica. Their daughter Keano has sickle cell anemia (a very painful disease).

The building at Mocho is so old and so small that Brother Ward’s burden is to repair and enlarge the church building. The work is currently hindered due to lack of funds.

Mervin Ward’s passion is to bring the Word of God to the people in the hills of Mocho. He has a hard time getting to the churches since the distance between them is over 30 miles. He does not have funds for a vehicle.
